Start with a traditional breakfast by the lake, followed by an engaging talk from biologists about the rehabilitation and release of parrots and macaws. Help preparing and delivering the food to these majestic birds before setting off on a 15-kilometer horseback ride guided by an expert biologist. 

Ride through vibrant trails surrounded by mountains, taking in stunning panoramic views and immersing yourself in the reserve’s beauty. Encounter monkeys, parrots, macaws, and other wildlife along the way. Meet local farmers and taste freshly harvested tropical fruits as you explore.

Important: Please remember that it is not permitted to feed the animals directly, or touch them. All activities take place under the supervision of our trained foundation staff, as this is a rehabilitation center, not a zoo.
