are we?

At Loros Foundation, we are an interdisciplinary team committed to biodiversity conservation and the protection of psittacine species in Colombia. Located in Villanueva, Bolívar, 35 km from Cartagena, we work closely with the local community to achieve our goals. We have strategic allies such as CARDIQUE and EPA to improve bird rehabilitation and reforestation of the dry tropical forest in the region. Additionally, we raise social awareness about the importance of preserving nature and promote the use of native species in reforestation efforts. Together, we work towards a more sustainable and healthy future for the birds and their natural habitat.
