Patrons are the foundation of any serious conservation organization. Their monthly contribution makes it possible to plan the full year, hire staff on permanent contracts, and commit budget to months-long projects — not reactive responses. When 100 people give the sanctuary small, predictable support, everything else becomes possible.

Every month, your contribution becomes caregiver hours in the aviary, fruit rations for rescued birds, fuel for monitoring, tools for the nests, and trees planted.

This isn't an abstract fund. It's an operation that runs every week, in the tropical dry forest of Villanueva, Bolívar.

Each level funds something concrete every month. Start where feels right — you can always move up or down later.

  1. Companion · $25,000/mes (~$7 USD)

    Covers the full care of one native tree for a month — watering, fertilizing, and pruning.

  2. Support · $50,000/mes (~$14 USD)

    Fund the monitoring of one sector of the reserve for a month — fuel, cameras, transport.

  3. Sustain · $150,000/mes (~$41 USD)

    Covers the full feeding of one aviary for an entire week. This is the most recommended level.

  4. Sponsor · $500,000 COP/month (~USD $135)

    It equals one new nest box installed and maintained every two months. Significant infrastructure coverage.

  5. Godfather · $1,000,000/mes (~$270 USD)

    Covers 4 nests + 30 trees + active monitoring every month. You become part of the financial core of the sanctuary.

  1. Monthly reports

    Every month you get an email with a photo, a fact, and an update — what was planted, what was monitored, what nests were installed. No marketing.

  2. Director's Briefing

    Once a quarter, the director sends a briefing to the Patrones group — decisions made, open challenges, plans for the next three months.

  3. Annual guided visit

    One invitation per year to walk the sanctuary with the team — sections not normally open to the public, direct conversation with biologists and caretakers.

  4. Your name on the Patrons page

    Opt-in: if you want, your name appears on a public page of sanctuary Patrons. The social aspiration is honest.

How is each month billed?+
In V1 we coordinate manually: the team generates a monthly Bold payment link for you, or you set up a recurring transfer from your bank (PSE/automatic debit). It takes less than 5 minutes per month. Bold subscription automation is coming soon.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes — one WhatsApp message and we stop. No forms, no hold. It's your money, your call.
Do I receive a DIAN tax certificate?+
Yes — at the end of each fiscal year we issue you a consolidated certificate for the total amount donated that year. Useful for deducting on your income tax return (Régimen Tributación Especial · Decreto 2150/2017). If you need monthly certificates, we can do that too.
Can I change the amount?+
Yes, whenever you want. Patrons usually start at one level and move up when they see the reported impact. We also move them down — no drama.
How does it work if I live outside Colombia?+
Bold accepts international cards. The charge is always in COP (~3,700 per USD); your bank handles the conversion. For international transfers (Wise, Zelle, USDT), let's talk on WhatsApp and we'll send you the details.
