Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the loros.org website. By browsing, donating, or contacting us through the site, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site.

Intellectual property

All site content (text, photographs, video, illustrations, logos, and the Fundación Loros brand) is owned by the Foundation or by collaborators who have authorized its use. Academic citation with proper attribution is permitted. Any other use requires prior written authorization at info@loros.org.

Acceptable use

By using the site you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt unauthorized access to the site.
• Extract data in bulk or in automated ways (scraping) without permission.
• Use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Impersonate the Foundation, its staff, volunteers, or any third party.

Donations

Donations made through the site are voluntary and processed by Bold S.A.S., a certified payment processor. They may generate an optional tax certificate, subject to the applicable tax regime for the donation and the donor. Donations do not constitute consideration for goods or services.

Third-party links

The site includes links to social networks, platforms such as iNaturalist, Bold, and other external resources. The Foundation does not control or endorse this content and assumes no responsibility for its availability, accuracy, or policies.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee continuous availability or freedom from errors. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but we assume no liability for errors, omissions, or damages arising from use of the site, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by our Personal Data Protection Policy and our Privacy Notice.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute related to the use of the site or to the Foundation will be submitted to the courts of Cartagena, Bolívar.

We may amend these terms at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page. Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.
